Story Sharing

Today in Willow Class we have been taking part in Story Sharing.

We welcomed in a couple of visitors who kindly shared a story with the class. Thank you to Mrs Faulconbridge and to Mrs Barker for giving up their time. Here are the books that they shared.

In class we shared our own favourite stories and listened to a couple of audio books.

We then designed a new tie for the giraffe from ‘The Smartest Giant in town.’

In class we also generated our own Superhero stories using a random dice selector to choose our settings, characters and props.

The children have written some great stories.

We also had some quiet time whilst listening to our class novel being read – The miraculous journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo.

In the afternoon we also took part in the St. John’s hospice fun run on the top field.  What a fun filled day we’ve had.
