At Ellel St. John’s, we believe that Jesus is the light of the world! We aim, in all that we do, to follow Jesus’ example and to let our light shine and to bring light to dark places and all the people that we meet. We celebrate together how and where we have let our lights shine and give thanks to God for the unique and special gifts he has blessed us all with.
In our school hall we have a Shining Light Display board where we share the achievements of individuals, groups and classes from our school community.
We also have a Shining Light Assembly each half term where we present awards, trophies, certificates and celebrate any achievement – big or small. We are so proud of every member of the Ellel family and how wonderfully we shine our light in our school and community!
