Our Eco Council took part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. We partnered up ready with our binoculars and clipboards to record the highest number of bird species seen at once. One tree was full of Blackbirds! They were our most popular bird seen. Our results have now been submitted. #Loving #living #ecocouncil ... See MoreSee Less

Another fabulous week has been had by Oak class. Earlier in the week, they had a visit from the Lancashire Library service. They were very impressed by how many of the FBA books the class had read already! We are certainly a class of super readers.
Oak class also returned to their Max Whitlock gymnastics.
They culminated their week with a visit to see Craig at church. There they delved into the meaning of Eucharist. Craig was also temporarily replaced by a member of Oak class!
Have a super weekend.

It was lovely to welcome Sarah Earnshaw to lead our Worship this morning about positive changes and how we can show kind words and share hope with others. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful Worship and message to the children. #Loving ... See MoreSee Less

In Science today, we looked at the properties of rocks and made predictions about the hardness, bouyancy and absorbency of the various types of rocks!
Earlier in the week, in PE, we evaluated each others travel section of our Roman Dance!
Next week, Forest School starts on Tuesday morning for all of Hazel class. Please can children arrive in their forest school clothes with their school uniform and shoes in a separate bag. Letters came home on Tuesday with further details (see photo).
Have a lovely weekend!

Another week has flown by and Oak class has had so much fun. The week began with a visit from the fire brigade and culminated with more gymnastics from Max Whitlock and the finishing of our art project.
In the blink of an eye, this week has been and gone. Well done Oak class!
