Living
This morning, the School Council led our whole-school worship, explaining all about the Royal British Legion, the Great Tommy Sleep Out and why we have all come to school in our PJs today. We are supporting Steve and Tom from the Plough who are raising money for the Royal British Legion by sleeping out in Lancaster City Centre from 22nd to the 25th March. What a great thing to do!
We recognised that while it is Comic Relief today, we have chosen to support a much smaller charity and members of our local community. Together we are making a difference!

Wow, what a fabulous day we have had in school! The children looked amazing in their outfits and enjoyed lots of World Book Day themed activities throughout the day. The highlight was definitely our poetry afternoon, where each class entertained us with their performance. A big thank you for all of the help with the amazing outfits the children wore today and a big thank you to our wonderful Friends of Ellel for serving the refreshments at our poetry afternoon. We hope that the children enjoying their new book with their voucher. #living #Loving #learning ... See MoreSee Less

Today we have enjoyed a day in our pyjamas to help raise money for the Royal British Legion. We made dream catchers using our threading skills and have shown great team work when a small group used fantastic collaborative skills to build the giant jigsaw together. We also say thank you and goodbye to our student teacher Miss Goodwin who leaves us today.
