Sycamore Class have had a fantastic day at Lancaster University. We learnt about democracy and British Values, had a tour of the university and finished our day with a debate about the uses of technology. We were very proud of all of the children; they asked great questions, shared their opinions with respect to each other and shared what they knew about democracy and debating really well. Well done Oak Class - more great learning this week! You all developed ways to describe how blood circulates around the body and what happens at different points. The rap was brilliant! We also had a relaxing good football session on Wednesday and managed to dodge the worst showers! Have a good weekend - ready to return on Monday for more learning! #learning #Oak

Some of our Year 5 and 6 children have been working hard on producing videos to demonstrate how we use written calculations in maths.
