All parents automatically become ‘Friends of Ellel School’ when their child starts school here.  Parents are informed about the meetings which take place about twice a term and you are all welcome to attend.

The ‘Friends’ organise social, educational and fund raising events for the children, parents and local community.  Some of these events help to raise money for the school to buy extra equipment and the education of the children benefits enormously from this support.

Last year events included the Christmas, Easter and Summer Fairs, Film Nights, Easter Egg Bingo, Rounders Tournament and Children’s Disco.  Recent purchase by the Friends include a set of wireless microphones for use in productions and celebration assemblies and a mobile interactive screen.
