School and Eco Council
At Ellel St. John’s our School and Eco Council are very important to the changes and improvements that we make to our school. Both groups meet regularly across the year and make sure that they are representing the children in their class with their ideas at these meetings.
Our councils lead worships about important events, have opportunities to find out how democracy and parliament work and work with staff to consider how to make our school a better place for everyone.
Meet our School and Eco Council for 2023 – 2024:
Recently our School and Eco Council represented their classes in interviewing our local M.P. Cat Smith. They found out about her role, what inspired Cat to become an M.P. and the current issues that are important to her. It was a great experience for all of our children and we certainly have some budding politicians in the making!
