School and Eco Council
At Ellel St. John’s our School and Eco Council are very important to the changes and improvements that we make to our school. Both groups meet regularly across the year and make sure that they are representing the children in their class with their ideas at these meetings.
Our councils lead worships about important events, have opportunities to find out how democracy and parliament work and work with staff to consider how to make our school a better place for everyone.
Some of our recent charity work has included raising money for Children in Need:
On World Book Day, the School Council led an assembly with the theme of diversity and celebrating books and authors form around the world. This was then the theme of all of the learning in school during the day. Please see our Facebook page for more about this event.
