Earlier in the week, children from Year 3 & 4 represented school in a football tournament. They worked together as a team, persevered and played some fantastic football. Well done children, we are so proud of you! #Living ⚽️ ... See MoreSee Less

This morning, Rev Peter Ballard - alongside Willow Class - led our half termly Eucharist service. What a beautiful, reflective way to end our half term in school. Thank you to Peter and the pupils and staff of Willow Class.

Earlier this week, Jenny from St. John’s Hospice joined us for our Shining Light Assembly to present us with a cheque celebrating our amazing fundraising. We raised an amazing £2082.40 from our Elf Extravaganza just before Christmas - what a fantastic achievement! Jenny told us all about his the money will be used and how it will help people. Thank you all!

Happy half term Beech class! You’ve all worked so hard and should be so proud of what you’ve achieved this half term. We finished our week by looking at the miracles of Jesus and celebrating friendship and love and Chinese New Year. #beech #learning ... See MoreSee Less

Hazel Class has had an amazing week - well done to everyone. They all deserve a well-earned rest.
We were fortunate with the weather for Forest School. The children thoroughly enjoyed whittling a dirk (a traditional Scottish weapon).
In Computing, we had an important Internet Safety lesson exploring the advantages and disadvantages of AI.
In Science, we examined a range of beautiful rocks, which the children found fascinating, as well as different types of soil. We also observed how soil settles in water in order to identify its different components.
Finally, we concluded our Extreme Earth topic in Geography. We have already seen the first glimpses of some wonderful creative homework, including a delicious cake model of a volcano and a brilliant Lego model. I am very much looking forward to seeing more of the fantastic creative projects to come.
