Sycamore Class had a wonderful, creative Decoration Day with the theme of light. They produced some beautiful pieces of work now displayed around school. We had lots of fun! #sycamore #loving #livingImage attachmentImage attachment+Image attachment

Yesterday, Holly Class were visited by Lancaster Fire Service. They learnt lots about fire safety including what to do if there is a fire, how to prevent fires from happening and how to stop, drop and roll. The fire service also gave us some homework that we thought would be good to share with you all to help keep you and your families safe.
1. Check that you have a smoke alarm and that it is working.
2. Create a fire plan. What would you do if there was a fire at home?
3. Tidy your room. A tidy room makes it much quicker for the fire service to check that rooms are clear.
4. Learn your full home address. If you ever need to call the fire service, they will know exactly where to go.

Oak class had a really busy week of learning last week. We started our science unit on evolution and inheritance, we completed outdoor learning with calculating different perimeters of our outside spaces, we began our calendar design for next year. We finished the week with a superb class assembly showing all our learning so far including our residential visit to Borwick Hall. Well done Oak class for shining your lights so brightly last week.#Oak #LearningImage attachmentImage attachment+Image attachment
