On Tuesday Oak Class went to Lancaster University for the day. We spent time with the second year Medical students learning about the heart, CPR, the importance of good diet and exercise along with warnings about the effects of different drugs on our bodies. The Student Union also led a transition exercise on how to make a good move to their next school. The students also organised a tour of the campus and we saw the Student Union, various colleges, the county tree and food areas. The children had a great day and learnt lots about the body and themselves. Thank you to the University for giving up your time to spend the day with us. Here are some photos from the day:
