Inspired by the win last night the teams spirt is at an all time high. Even the German members of the squad had smiles on their faces this week as we continued to develop our football skills. This week we were back outside in the heat getting acclimatised and ready for the heat of Rome.

This week we worked on our 3 different dribbling techniques, ready to escape the Ukrainian press. We looked at inside the foot, outside the foot and sole of the foot dribbling before incorporating a pass at the end.

As always the session was ended with a few matches. With everyone gunning for a place in the first 11 and a chance to progress to the semi-finals, the skills on show as always were world class. Bring on Ukraine!

I have not spoken the sacred words yet but the momentum in the squad is building…
