I cannot believe we have done two weeks of home learning already! You have all been great and have worked so hard! I have been so impressed with all of you. Your Mums and Dads have been working really hard too, and so I think you should give them a big hug to say thank you to them for keeping the learning going on at home!
English – phonics
Follow this pdf for today’s English focus phonics:
Maths – number
Follow the guidance and go through this:
Then your activity for today is: to play number splat.
Adults write some 2 digit numbers on bits of paper on put them across the floor. Call out the number for the child to splat or jump on.
Challenge by asking questions like: can you find the number that is one more than… or one less than … Can you find the number that has 5 tens and 3 ones etc.
Maths problem of the day
Have a go at this problem if you would like. Ask the children how do you know that? How did you work out that answer?
Well-being activity for the day
Select your favourite wellbeing activity from the past 2 weeks and do that!
Some ideas – from go noodle (YouTube) – trolls,banana banana meatball, hokey pokey. A peace out meditation (YouTube), cosmic kids yoga (YouTube), peer massage.
Extra activity (optional)
Pick anything from your grids, the gingerbread man activities including the scavenger hunt, the lego challenges or the spring walk if you didn’t manage that.

Easter holiday homework.
I can’t believe we are at the holiday’s already. I will not be setting work over the holidays but have found some Easter activities you can complete if you want to. I will upload an Easter blog later today!
