Happy Wednesday everyone.  Well here we are half way through the week already. Thank you to those that have sent their work to me already.  This is great as it gives me time to look at it.  If you haven’t sent yours yet please try to do this before Thursday at 1pm.  Thank you.

Here are today’s activities:

English

L.I. To be able to use the suffixes -ous and -sion

I would like you to use the BBC link for this.  It is from June 1st.  It is really important that the ends of our words are spelled correctly. This practises will help you improve on this skill.

There is a video and lots of information on how to use these suffixes and some activities for you to practise.

P.E.

As it is Wednesday don’t forget about Mr Garvey’s blog.  In addition to this I would like you to have a look at this video and have a go!

Well, how did you do??   I hope you had fun.

Lancashire Big Sing

Don’t forget to log onto today’s Get your voice going 3.  I remember you liking this one especially when you are encouraged to shout at the end. I would like you to look at this and the other posts from the Lancashire Big Sing.  It is an opportunity to sing all the songs you practised and it links to your afternoon activity.

You can access this on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaqUp4U-nRx4TKySuopLXpA

So could you do your own version??

Music

Today following on from the Big Sing practise I would like you to write your own version of  ‘Everywhere we go’  You may keep the title and change it according to where you live or you may want to change it to something completely different, maybe a hobbie or pet etc.

First of all think about how many lines there are and if any of them repeat, rhyme or change!  Following the same pattern write your lyrics to the same beat and length.

Have a great rest of your day.

See you tomorrow.

Love Mrs G. ???
