Happy April Fool’s Day!!

Do you know why we call it April Fool’s Day?

Have a look at these theories on the CBBC Newsround channel and see which you agree with!    https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/39442476

So, have you played a joke on someone today?  If you are planning to then make sure that they will laugh too and not be cross with you. And most importantly make sure it’s a safe joke!

Another tradition is to mark the start of a new month by saying ‘White Rabbits’, or ‘Pinch, punch, first of the month’.  I wonder why?  Do you know? See if you can find out.

Activities for today:

Stilling –

Don’t forget to do some stilling in your day today.  You could play relaxing music whilst you read a book, colour, sit with a loved one or relax on your bed.  It can happen anywhere. What about trying one of the breathing tasks on GoNoodle?  The link is in the website and apps tab in classes on the main page.

Topic – L.I. To compare and contrast the powers of different Egyptian gods.

Have a look at this ‘Horrible Histories’ video on youtube. It is 33 minutes long.

I thought that you would like to do some work on the Egyptian Gods.

Please take a look at this and the activity to accompany it.
