In Oak class over the last two weeks we have been learning how to turn the novel of War Horse into a play. We looked at a playscript and worked out what the features of a play script are. Then the children chose the section of the story that they wanted to turn into a play. After editing their scripts and improving them we moved onto getting into groups to perform the play. The children decided which script they wanted to learn and perform and spent a few lessons auditioning, practising and making props. Today the children performed their plays to the rest of the class.
