Hello Willow class!

Hoping that you are all well.

I wondered if you could send me a picture of something that is special to you. It can be anything, your teddy, your pet, a favourite book, your family.  Please also tell me something about your special thing, pet, person.

I am going to start with a picture of my cat Lenny.  Lenny is a rescue cat and we have had him 4 years.  He is approximately 10 or 11 years old.  He has had a hard life  as he was abandoned and lived outdoors for 2 years that we know about.  He is very timid but ever so loyal.  He doesn’t stray far as he is scared of most things.  He is so soft and doesn’t have a bad bone in his furry little body. He’s never scratched or attacked anything. He does like to follow me around the garden, being brushed and sitting with me in the evening.  His favourite treats are, Dreamies, any flavour!

Here are today’s activities.

Important – Daily PE session.  Remember there are lots of things online or make your own up.  Exercise is much more fun if you can do it with someone so encourage your families to take part in whatever you do.   Enjoy.

English – L.I. To discuss a character’s emotions

I hope you are all enjoying the book.  It is such a good book and it really makes you think.

The White Prince Text

The White Prince Activity

Maths – L.I. To interpret discrete and continuous data using appropriate graphical methods, including bar charts and time graphs.

Here are three activities for you to try.  You don’t need to do them all but you can if you’d like to.  You could always try two then leave the last one until tomorrow to see how much you have remembered.  Remember it is really important that you read the instructions carefully so you understand what to do with the information.

Don’t forget your times tables test today on mathsframe. Record your answers into your book and have a look to see where you made mistakes (if any) so you know what to concentrate on for next week.

R.E.  L.I. To look at the story of Easter as a betrayal of trust

I know that you did some RE on Friday but as we are near the end of our topic on ancient Egyptians and it is difficult to try and do our science topic of electricity, I thought we could look at this in detail as it links to Easter.

This follows on from Friday’s lesson of trust and responsibility.
