In Hazel Class this afternoon, we have been investigating the strength of magnets. Looking at bar, cylindrical, horseshoe and button magnets we used string and a paper clip to test their strength. As you can see from the pictures the pupils had a great time using the different magnets to test the strength of the magnetic fields produced by each magnet. After testing all the magnets the pupils agreed that the button magnet was the strongest and therefore had the biggest magnetic field.
