Our next English topic is all about Older literature. I would like you to find an extract from a piece of Older literature and see if you can re-write it in a more modern way.
Here is an example
O she doth teach the torches to burn bright.
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
As a rich jewel in an Ethiope’s ear. (I.v.)
These lines express Romeo’s first impression of Juliet.
