Well you’ve made it to the last day of Home Learning before the weekend – well done!

I am so proud of you for trying hard with your home learning.

You are learning vital skills of independence, perseverance, organisation, self discipline and many more that will help you in the future – great job Sycamore Class!

In the news…

You may have heard  of the protests currently taking place in America and in other cities around the world.

Many people are angry about the unfairness and mistreatment of how black African American citizens are treated by the police and in other situations within their lives.

Black Lives Matter is a movement to both raise awareness and educate people about racial inequalities around the world.

Racism is something we can all learn about and find out ways that we can support and promote equality for all.

A quick message for Monday’s Timetable. We will have Maths and English and Stilling Time and then special activities for World Ocean Day for Schools. This is an all day event.

There will be lots of things to choose from for you to do. A couple of the activities require you to pre-book, so I have attached the website below so that you have time to look at this with your parents.

I suggest you have a look at the website maybe later today or over the weekend to see what is on offer and what you would like to do.

Here is the programme for the evening:

Today’s Maths is a set of challenges that you can have a go at with your family if they would like to join in!

The questions get more and more challenging so see how you get on. Up to Q5 is probably Year 5 level.

I know some of you love to sing and listen to music so I hope you enjoy today’s music lesson.

I am so grateful for all the effort you are making. Remember, do your best and remember to celebrate your effort.

Please send me some examples of work for me to share on the  blog with your classmates.
