Todays stilling time will hopefully show you a way that can help us calm down if we ever feel cross or angry. We can all have days or moments through a day where we get these negative feelings. It’s important that we don’t ignore these feelings but that we can have a way to release them.
If you would like to try this then it’s important that you have an adult or grown up with you. It’s a nice thing to do just for calming time too.
You will need to light a candle that is safely placed and sturdy…I used a tangerine in an egg cup! When it is lit, watch the flame flickering and focus on the wax as it melts away. As you watch this, take some slow, deep breaths and as you release your breath focus on also releasing that negativity that you’re feeling. You need to watch the candle for a good few minutes in order to get into the calming mindset, ignore any background noise or anything going on around you.
