It was an exciting day for two members of Worship Committee as they attended the RE Conference for Children run by Blackburn Diocese at Ewood Park on the theme of Water, Water Everywhere. The day began with a time of worship about Lent before the children engaged with a range of activities and exercises to make them think about our wants and needs. They then moved on to looking at Water across the world and just how many people do not have access to clean drinking water each day. Joe and Heidi worked hard with children from other schools learning about different agencies who try to make a difference and think about what we can do. They designed a super poster. One of the highlights of the day was lunch and they were both very keen we shared the photographs!
