Today, we all came to school in our PJs to raise money for BookTrust (thank you to all our families for donating £1 to this great cause).
What does BookTrust do?
What we do
We are the UK’s largest reading charity and reach 3.9 million children each year with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading.
BookTrust is national in scale and works in every region in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. We work through every local authority via children’s centres, schools, libraries and health professionals to reach families who need us most.
Our prizes and awards celebrate writing from the UK and beyond, bringing new releases to a wider audience and getting readers to engage with different types of books. Here you can also find out more about our programmes, campaigns and awards.
You can find out more about BookTrust on this website: https://www.booktrust.org.uk/
In Oak Class, we have enjoyed listening to our class novel in the comfort of our PJs and have done a number of creative, book related activities throughout the day.
