In English, we have been looking at the story of Paddington. On Thursday, we were set a challenge. Paddington has been out and about in London and we had think about where he could have been. We spoke about different London landmarks and recorded our ideas in our books. Some of our ideas included; the London Eye, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

On Friday, we used our ideas from the previous day to write a postcard from Paddington to his Aunt Lucy in Peru, telling her all about what he had been up to in London. We also talked about the features of postcards and when we would send and receive them. We had also made Paddington head bands the day before in our creative area to get ourselves into character.

Great work Paddington and Beech Class!
