We had a Parliamentary Meeting in class this morning. We learnt about the House of Commons and how political parties are elected. We spoke about the people we might see in the House including the Speaker, Boris Johnson and other leaders.

We learnt about other MP’s and what their job roles are and how they carry out their duties. We discussed qualities that a person might need to become an MP. Our suggestions were to be brave, to be confident, to be careful with their words and to care about their constituency.
