Over the last week Eco Council have been busy planting a new wildflower meadow on the top field. When we first met as the new council the children identified this as something they would like to do to encourage bees and butterflies to thrive. We have been planting flowers that are native to the UK and will provide much needed food for local wildlife.

   

We’re looking forward to watching the flowers grow and see the visitng wildlife!

Hopefully we’ll be able to share some pictures of our flowers later on in the year.
