Good morning Willow Class and welcome to the last Monday of this half term! I know it has gone so fast. I wished that we could have all been at school during this time but maybe in the not too distant future we can be back in school. Let’s keep hoping.
Here are your activities for today
L.I. To understand what onomatopoeia is.
Onomatopoeia is a word used to describe sound words such as, bang, crash, whoosh etc.
Please watch the BBC bitesize video then complete tasks 1 & 2 today.
As a challenge you may do Activity 3
L.I. To understand equivalent fractions
Carry on with the next lesson in this unit, Lesson 6. Don’t forget if you have any questions, then please let me know.
Please use the worksheet for today’s learning which supports the teaching video.
Please take a look at Mr Garvey’s blog for today but also try to fit in some exercise today which raises your heart rate. If the weather is not good try to find something indoors that you can do.
Some examples could be:
Run up and down the stairs x10 have a 30 second break and then repeat.
Try some ‘mountain climbers for 30 seconds, 15 second break and then go again. You can repeat this as much as you like. If you don’t know what mountain climbers are then head over to Youtube and there will be a video to show you.
Skipping indoors as long as your family say it is ok and you have space.
or you could try Joe Wicks workout or another online exercise class.
Make sure that you cool down properly and that you drink lots of water!
Please watch this video from Oak academy. Please click on the link and access Lesson 1, ‘Life is all about balance.’
I look forward to seeing pictures of the posters you create.
Well done on all your hard work today, have a great rest of the day1
