Today in school, we had a fantastic day to mark World Mental Health Day which was at the start of this week.

We completed lots of fantastic activities in class.  We made mindful rainbows where we created patterns on our rainbows thinking carefully about what we were doing:

We then made self esteem sunshines where we thought about the things that make us special and what we are good at:

We have also all made a calming stone using clay. We thought really carefully about what we were doing as we made the stone. We smelt it, felt it in our hands and did deep breaths as we rolled it out to create our stone:

We spoke about how to hold them and do some deep breathing to help us to calm. We have brought them home to help us to calm at home.

We also had a Yoga session with Mrs Moorhouse:
