Today for PE I want you to create a ‘movement log’. A movement log tracks and records how long you’ve been moving for, this could be out on your bike or going for a walk, anything that gets you moving counts!
When you’ve done some movement make a note of it, on a piece of paper or your home school book, saying what movement you did and how long for.
So, for example – Went for a walk: 30 minutes.
Then at the end of the day add up all your movements and see how many minutes you’ve been active today, you’re aiming for 60 or above!
Children and adults should try to minimise the amount of time spent sitting and move more, when and where possible long periods of not moving should be broken up with physical activity.
Active people are happier and healthier, and also learn and sleep better!
