Then complete this:
You can just select a couple of words to find rhyming words with to simplify the task if you like?
Today we are continuing our work on direction and looking at right and left.
Use this picture to help
Then watch this video to understand which way is left and which is right:
There are three activities to choose from today:
- Can you draw the shapes in the right position?
If you can’t print, you could do it practically e.g. ask your child to place an object to the left or right of another object.
- http://www.snappymaths.com/other/shapeandspace/position/interactive/leftorrightimm/leftorrightimm.htm have a go at this game to say which way the animals are facing.
- Or look at these left and right cards and verbally answer the questions with an adult.
Can you practice using left and right throughout today?
e.g. can you find me something on your left? Can you move 3 steps to the right?
Or have a go at this problem…
Today we are looking at wh.
