Good morning Oak Class! Today is the only day this week that all of you are learning from home. We have had a lovely couple of days in school with the first group of children and we are very excited about welcoming some more of you back to school tomorrow! Remember, whether you’re coming back or not, we are all part of the Oak Class family!

I hope you’re getting on ok with the BBC maths and English lessons. Here’s today’s learning…

Stilling time

On Monday, I asked the Oak Class children who were in school what they’d like to do for Stilling Time this week. Joseph said he’d like to do an outdoor meditiation, so here you go. It’s a Headspace guided meditiation with help from children at Castle Hills Primary School. It’s not a particularly long one but you can carry on for as long as you want in today’s beautiful weather…

PE – Please do Mr Garvey’s PE challenge for today.

Topic – Art – The Circle

For your art lesson this afternoon, I’d like you to have a go at the Circle Challenge lesson from the Oak Academy website. How many circular objects can you think of? You will use your imagination and creativity to beat this challenge!
