Hi everyone. I hope you are all well.

I would like to do tomorrow’s meeting on GoogleMeet. It’s free to use and we won’t get cut off like you do with Zoom. Year 2 did their meeting on it the other day and everyone got on successfully. You don’t need a google email account to access a GoogleMeet but if you do have one you can use it to get on.
Here is a link to help to get onto GoogleMeet:

If anyone has any issues with this, please email me and I will try and help.

Here is today’s learning..

English

Today you are going to research answers to your questions.

Watch this:

Remember just write notes (words to help you to remember your information) you don’t need to write in full sentences.

Maths

Today in maths, we are looking at ten more or ten less. Have a look at this:

https://youtu.be/9Kwf2i1fFUU 10 more

Then try one of these activities using the 100 square to help:

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/learning-to-count/paint-the-squares

  • draw different number cards to 20, 50 or 100   (what ever is best for your child)                      e.g. 23  45  12  18  25  42                                                                                                                              Then in books write what is ten more and less than that number.

Please don’t feel you need to print everything, recording answers and work in books is great! If you don’t have a printer, use the resources on the blog and just write answers in your work books.

Please email over any work done, h.quinn@ellel-st-johns.lancs.sch.uk, I love to see how you are getting on! Mrs Quinn xx
