(I bet you can’t watch it without actually singing along!) What does ‘unique’ mean? Look it up in a dictionary and write down the definition. Can you find some synonyms for the word unique? Note them down. We are all unique! What makes you unique? Write down a list of things that make you unique. It could be something unique about your appearance, about your family, about your hobbies/interests etc.

Task 2. Write your ‘Unique’ poem all about you. Follow this format:

My hair is mousey brown and won’t stay straight

CPSHE – all about me on Purple Mash

Following on from this morning’s Extension English lesson (don’t worry those of you who chose to do the BBC lesson – you can still do this activity) I’d like you to access the 2Do I’ve set you on Purple Mash. The task is to make a poster using pictures and writing to tell people all about you. For those of you who wrote the poem this morning, you can use lots of your ideas for what makes you unique and special. I want the poster to be a celebration of you because you are all so wonderful! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Topic

Geography – LI – to learn about the seven continents and five oceans of the world and how to map them using a globe and an atlas.

Use the 28 April:  Geography lesson on the BBC website:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zncsscw/year-6-lessons/1

One of the activities requires you to print a work sheet so if you can do this, great. If not, don’t worry, just do the other activities and have a look at that one on the screen and just think about it.
