https://youtu.be/40SCJs7vGlk 3D shapes

Can you remember any of the shapes you found yesterday on you shape hunt?

Use lollypop sticks, toothpicks, straws, matchsticks or anything you have that you think is appropriate to make these 3D shapes.

If you have some playdough or blu tack, you can use it to stick your corners together. How many faces, edges and vertices can you see on each shape?

maths day 4 activity

Can you make any other 3D shapes you have learned about?

Or if you can’t do this have a go at this instead;

There are 3 levels so pick the one that is best for your child. Play on the screen if you cannot print.

It also says you need a 3D dice (last page). Just use a normal nice and label the 3D shapes with a number e.g. cube 1, cuboid 2, cone 3 etc.
