Couldn’t resist this cute hedgehog. On the topic of hedgehogs, there is no sign of the hedgehog in my compost heap so it must have just been looking for slugs!

L.I. – To multiply mixed numbers by integers.

What is a mixed number and an integer?

2 \frac{1}{2} is an example of a mixed number. This is when whole numbers and fractions are written together.

An integer is simply a whole number. This can be a positive or negative number; 0 is also classified as an integer.

You can choose between White Rose which is Spicy/ Hot and BBC Bitesize which is Mild.

Make sure you watch all of the video. The teacher models how to answer the questions which she calls ‘My Turn’ and then you have a go. She also goes through he answers, which is really important for you to watch.
