Hi everyone. Well done for another great week of home learning. You have all done so well with all the work you have completed this week. I am so proud of each and every one of you for you amazing attitude to your home learning!
Here is the work for today:
Today we are going to write down our ideas for Dot and Miki’s next adventure that you invented yesterday.
Record in your books if you don’t want to print.
Adults, encourage your children to sound out the words themselves using your robot arms. They don’t have to spell everything correctly.
To simplify the task adults could write the sentence started They went and your child could finish the sentence.
For maths today, I thought it would be a good idea to recap different concepts we have covered in Beech Class.
Start by recapping numbers:
Then have a go at recapping place value:
Chose the right level for your child.
Then have a look at completing one of these mats.
The mats have 3 levels – 1 star, 2 star, 3 star. Chose the level that is best for your child.
I have attached 3 different ones so please don’t feel you have to do all 3.
1 is fine but there are more for those who like to do more:
Look at the sheet on a screen and record the answers in your books if you can’t print.

Have a go at this today:
Our unit for our RE this half term is called Jesus is Special.
To start off with, we are looking at friendship.
Watch this to start:
Discuss with your adult:
How do we make friends?
Who are your special friends?
What makes a person a good friend?
How do you show that you are a good friend?
What activities do you do with your friends?
Now Draw pictures of your special friends.
Next week, we will be starting a new topic on Food called Food Glorious Food. Here is the new topic grid for activities so you have a heads up of the activities set. I will continue to set alternative topic activities too as I have been doing.
Thank you to all of you for your hard work this week. I am so proud of all of you! Thank you to all the adults who have helped their children this week too! Have a great weekend Mrs Quinn x
