Hi Beech Class, I hope you are all well. Yesterday, I received a message from Sunny the meerkat. Would you like to hear what he has to say?

Hello I’m Sunny the meerkat. Thank you for looking at my story this week. I hope you have enjoyed my book!

I love travelling and wherever I go I like to send a postcard to describe what I have been doing and where I have been.

I have a postcard in my bag. All you have to do is help me write a message do you think you can do that?

Use this to help understand more about post cards:

Extra Activities – if you would like

Today for your extra activity we are going to look back on our year in Beech Class. I know it has been a very strange year and we have not got to spend it all in class. But we had a great time when we were in school and I loved teaching you all this year.

I think this is really important for the children with everything that has gone on, that they can look back and think of positive things that have happened this year with all the turmoil they have experienced.

Have a look at this which looks back on our year…

Complete the activity or talk about it with an adult.

Then have a think about one thing you are looking forward to next year in Holly Class.

Have a great day and a great weekend everyone! Mrs Quinn xx
