Morning everyone!
We will be discussing Safer Internet Day and Science in this morning’s Google Meet 9:30-10:30.
There is also a Live Lesson at 11am for Safer Internet Day, which I would encourage you to watch.
Today’s Learning:
Maths
L.I. – To convert kilograms and kilometres.
Use the organiser below to check your understanding of key vocabulary and how to convert units:
t2-m-254741-year-5-converting-units-maths-knowledge-organiser_ver_2
Some of the questions below ask you to find a fraction of an amount,
e.g. 3 tenths of a kg
A bar model is helpful for calculating this.
I have attached one below for you to use if needed.
The kilogram is the whole amount at the top and it will have 10 equal parts each of 100g.
You can of course draw a similar model for km and m.
Choose from the sheets below:
Mild -Sheet 1
Spicy – Sheet 2
Hot – Sheet 3
