L.I. – To calculate angles on a straight line
This is the PowerPoint I will use in today’s Meet:
L.I. -Tp explore Non-fiction texts
Focus theme: Deadly Creatures
This week will explore deadly creatures from around the world (whilst sitting in the comfort of your own home!)
By the end of the week, not only will you know lots about some deadly creatures, you will have also created your own!
When following links online, parents should monitor that children are remaining on that page only and are keeping safe online.
Read the following extract from ‘Deadly Factbook: Mammals’ by Steve Backshall:
Write three sentences to describe each of the five animals you have read about.
Try to include some of the descriptive words used in the text, such as ‘sublime sense of smell’ (used to describe the polar bear).
Choose your favourite animal that you have read about today and create a fact file about it.
Watch the video of the Easter story from Saddleback Kids YouTube below:
Consider the following:
How would Jesus’ victory be communicated to the world if the first Easter Sunday was today?
Would Mary send a text? What would it say?
Imagine that you are Mary or one of the disciples who has seen Jesus.
Send a text message to tell someone about the Good News that Jesus is alive.
Draw some emojis in your message to help spread the message!
With the amazing Mr. Garvey or Joe Wicks or your own idea for some fun and exercise outdoors.
Be Kind – the perfect message for us all!
Well done -great effort today everyone.
See you tomorrow
love from Mrs. Padfield
