Hazel Class Isolation Work

Below are some activities for you to work through while you are isolating (as long as you are well enough to work).

The plan is that this post will become a permanent page on our class blog but it’s just here for the time being as a post. Do one maths activity and one English activity per day. Please don’t do any of this work unless you are isolating but feeling well. If you’re ill and not well enough to be at school then you should be resting.

  2. 2- 10 More and 10 Less Worksheet
  3. 3- Missing Number Sheet
  4. 4- 100 More than 100 Less than

Additional Activities

Many of us used the BBC Online Learning during lockdown. Even though children are now back at school, the BBC have produced some new online lessons for the autumn term which would give you lots to go at while you’re off school. Follow this link to take you to the website:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/this-terms-topics

Once there, you can choose from maths, English, science, history and geography.

I would recommend the following lessons:

English – Year 3 English Topics

Maths – Year 3 Maths Topics

Science – Forces Lesson

History – The Stone Age Lesson

Geography – Locations- Locating the World’s Countries

Lots of us also used the Oak National Academy website which also offers a whole host of lessons for you to choose from. Use this link to access the website and choose from any of the lessons that interest you or pick an area that you feel you need to work on:

https://classroom.thenational.academy/subjects-by-key-stage/key-stage-2

This should keep you very busy. Remember you’ve also got Spelling Shed, Mathletics, Purple Mash to work on and your reading book to read. If you need any help with any of the work or to share what you’ve produced, email myself on: j.turton@ellel-st-johns.lancs.sch.uk

We hope you’re back with us in school soon!
