Hi everyone!

What a great, but busy week we’ve had!

The children have been amazing this week and are settling in well. They have adapted remarkably well to new routines and have made a super start to Year 3.

They have managed ordering tuck, which is a new thing for them to do in Year 3.

They have also started Forest School with our new Forest School teacher and have had to adapt to new routines for lunch on Forest School days. I am so proud of them!

Homework:

Eco and School Councillors

This week we would like your child to produce a poster and a small speech about why they want the position if they want to stand for either Eco or School council and what they can bring to the role.

We will then hold an election in school for them to pitch at.  The children will have a vote and whoever is elected will be announced to represent Hazel Class.

Please find below the regular homework that we would like the children to do each week.

Please practise:

  • Spellings for the test on Wednesday – these should be on Spelling Shed.
  • 2x table for a quick assessment on Wednesday to see what their recall is like.
  • Reading – please sign Reading Records.

Have a restful weekend and we’ll see you on Monday!

Love from Mrs. Padfield, Miss Hibble and Mrs Fisher
