Good morning everyone and welcome to Wednesday’s home learning activities.
Maths
In Amish today we are going to be looking at inverse operations.
7+5=12
So we know that
5+7= 12 also.
We also know some subtractions sums because of this.
12-5=7
and
12-7=5
Today I would like you to complete the activity sheets below all about inverse operations.
English
Today I would like you to read over how each of the gameshows work.
Compare the two shows and decide which they think is better and why.
Make a list of the features that you think make one game better than the other.
Today’s activity.
Today I would like you to write a review of the gameshows that compares the two together and explains your favourite show.
The review should emphasise why one is better than the other, using comparative language (but, however, though, while, whereas, conversely, although, even though).
Spicy/Hot- I would like you to write your TV review on paper.

Topic
Where is the UK?
On the map, how is the UK different to Austria?
Use an atlas to find the names of these UK rivers.
If you don’t have an atlas don’t worry as I have found an online map that shows the rivers of the UK
What I would like you to do today is to complete the sheets below looking at the seas and rivers in the UK.
Activity Sheet of UK Rivers and Seas
RE
Today I would like you to watch this video about ‘Good Friday’.
Think about this story.
Are people simply happy or sad?
Why is it much more complicated than that?
Have you ever experienced these feelings?
When?
Where?
If they had been there, how do you think they would have felt?
Is this the saddest part of the story?
Why?
Why not?
Is this the beginning or the end? Why?
These questions are tricky and designed to make you think.
Have a great day everyone, keep smiling.
