Today we are going to start with the joke, as I need to redeem myself.
Hazel Class Day 4 Work – Maths, English and ICT
In today’s maths work we will be looking at column subtraction. Remember to look at the instructions before starting.
In English, we are looking at our ‘word of the day’ and using our SPaG knowledge to complete all the information. Today’s word of the day is happiness.
As Thursday is our ICT day, I have set a challenging task on Purple Mash. You must guide a child through the labyrinth. Be sure to watch the video at the start as this gives clear instructions.
Stilling time today will be to make a reading area/calm corner. This can be somewhere were you can relax and be clam and spend sometime reading your book. This may even be outside whilst we are having this great weather.
It was great to get some responses yesterday with images of the work you have completed. Keep them coming in, as a blog will follow shortly.
Have a great day today everybody, enjoy the sunshine and keep smiling.
Mr Turton.
Oscar has been working very hard on all the tasks that you have set and also going on all the web pages and doing more. Super proud of him.
I just wanted to say have two children at home learning and trying to work myself it has been a great challenge, but the ease you have set out the work and cleary has made this much more achievable thanks very much.
Kath ( Oscar Mum)
That is great to hear, well done Oscar. Keep challenging yourself and trying your best. Thank you and you are welcome, I am glad everything has been easy to find and use. If you need anything, be sure to let me know by commenting or emailing me. Hope you are still finding time to relax and enjoy the sun. All the best – Mr Turton.
Here is one
A man got hit with a can of coke today.
Luckily it was a soft drink ?
?? I like this one Jakob made me laugh.
Tip : to make a good joke you need some enthusiasm
Boom bet you didnt see that coming
Ah that must be where I am going wrong.
Tomorrow I shall try and bring some more enthusiasm in my joke.
Oh wait actually put this joke on the blog
Q: how does the ocean say hello?
A: it waves ?
I sea what you did there….
Lol
Hello Hazel Class! So lovely to see all your photos of you enjoying you learning at home. Your joke is much better today Mr Turton but not yet deserving of a shiny Headteacher Sticker. Jakob Wilby is really pushing you on the quality of jokes. It will be a Stand Up Comedy Celebration Assembly by Hazel Class when we get back.
Take care. Mrs Thomas
