Good morning! Welcome to week two of home learning. I hope you all had a great weekend and are feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Hazel Class Day 6 Work – Maths, English, French and PE

In maths this week, we will be looking at time.  I have attached a link to ‘TopMarks’ teaching clock. This resource is really good at helping visualise time passing. Watch the hands as you set different times.

Set these different time on the clock.

1 o’clock

5 o’clock

3:30

5:45

7:26

Now have a go at this telling the time game. Select the level at which you feel comfortable with and have a go. Challenge yourself on level 5, to tell the time to the minute.

By the end of this week in English I would like you to write a mystery story. However, before we do that, we must look at the features. The first feature we will look at is the 5 senses. Those being: sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste. Have a look at the picture below and write 3 sentences for each of your 5 senses.

French

Bonjour! Today in French, I would like you to watch this video of the days of the week. Sing along and try your best to learn them.

PE- Joe Wick’s Daily work out.

Stilling time – Today I would like you to put your favourite song on and sing and dance to it!

Mr Turton’s joke of the day.

A boy asks his father, “Dad, are bugs good to eat?”

“That’s disgusting. Don’t talk about things like that over dinner,” the dad replies.

After dinner the father asks, “Now, son, what did you want to ask me?”

“Oh, nothing,” the boy says. “There was a bug in your soup, but now it’s gone.”

Have a great day everybody, keep smiling.
