In PSHE we have been talking about what it means to be a good friend. We listened to Harold and his friends to see what they thought.

We then went outside to smile at each other – it made us feel much better when people were smiling instead of looking sad. We then thought about what made us actually smile. Here is what we came up with:

I smile when…

I’m playing with Julius.

I run.

We smile at each other.

I make new friends.

I look at my friends.

I see a rainbow.

I tickle Charlie.

People smile at me.

I look after people.

I look after everyone in my class.

My friends are quiet.

My friends do a silly dance.

My friends play with me.
