The Eden Project is coming to Morecambe! We are taking part in the ‘Wider Stories Project.’ Here is some background information:

—There are hundreds of stories available to listen to, being told by people of their memories of living, working or visiting the Morecambe Bay area.

—This EYFS oral story telling project hopes to feed into this – using Eden Bear to listen to stories about the Morecambe Bay area being told and to encourage and promote oral story telling by children, themselves.

Eden Bear arrived in Acorn Class, this week, with a letter – Eden Bear Visit

Eden Bear told us a story about his beach experience. The children began to talk to Eden Bear about their PAST experiences in and around the Morecambe Bay area.  Here we promoted lots of oral story telling.

We are going to record what Eden Bear does at Ellel!

—We will record present day stories of what Eden Bear does in our setting (PRESENT DAY).

—We will show our children evidence of Eden Bear visiting other settings.

—We will take photographs of Eden Bear playing, learning and having fun with our children. It should be a fun experience!

—Our work and photographs will form a book which will be displayed in the Eden building!
