Another great week of learning in Sycamore Class. The children were excited to receive replies from Cat Smith to our letters that we wrote to her about environmental issues that we were concerned about.
We took our learning outside in our maths for finding the difference between positive and negative numbers and have focussed on V.E. Day by looking at and creating our own medals and writing messages of thanks to the soldiers. We also worked with our local historian, Shaun, to look at other artefacts linked to V.E. Day, from people who lived in Galgate. #living #Loving #learning #sycamore

Sycamore Class had a fantastic morning taking part in a Viking workshop with Steiner the Viking. They learnt about different artefacts from the Viking era, learnt about long ships and villages, gods and battles. They learnt children really enjoyed the session, learnt a lot of information and gave some great input. Well done Sycamore! #sycamore #living #learning ... See MoreSee Less

Looks amazing! Thank you 🥰
Yesterday Sycamore Class enjoyed our Easter Prayer morning. They thought about how to leave behind their worries and fears in our Prayer Space session with the Worship Council and wrote some beautiful Easter prayers. They then enjoyed our annual egg roll! #sycamore #Loving #learning ... See MoreSee Less
