As part of Black History Month we have been researching Marcus Rashford and looking at his recent history of how he has helped so many children during the pandemic to ensure that they have enough food to eat.

He has taught to think about how we are ‘champions’ and what we would like to become champions of in the future.

During PSHE we celebrated each others differences and talked about how it doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, where you live – we are all special, unique and can achieve anything we want to achieve.

We have also been looking at The Notting Hill Carnival – which celebrates Black British people, especially the Caribbean community – their music, dance and food.

We have made our own carnival masks! Look how bright and colourful they are.
