Thank you to everyone who emailed in or sent in homework from over the half term holiday.

The children have had a great first week back. We have finished our work on money moving onto shape and in English we have created poems on fireworks! Next week, we will start our new topic, Frozen Planet.

PHONICS

This week we have started learning some phase 5 phonic sounds. Phase 5 looks at alternative sounds e.g. different ways to make ee (ea, y etc) ai (ay, a etc).

Maths Homework

This week in class, we have been looking at 2D shapes. Can you name these shapes? How many sides do they have?

Can you now go on a 2D shape hunt around your home? What shapes can you find?
