Capacity Maths Homework

Capacity is the amount something can hold.

We can use capacity to describe when something is full, half full and empty.

Can you find a big container and a small container at home?

Fill the small container with water and then pour it into the big container.

How many times do you need to do this to fill the big container?

CHALLENGE – repeat with other size containers. Which container holds the most and which holds the least?

Please send over any pictures of your capactity task.

Have a great weekend! Mrs Quinn
