On Friday, Hazel class started their new topic of Extreme Earth. The pupils looked at the different layers of the Earth staring with the crust and looked at what life looks like on the crust. We then dug down to the mantle and found out lots of interesting information. Digging down further we reached the outer core which reaches temperatures of 4000°. At the centre of our Earth is the inner core at 5000°C, it is the hottest place in our planet.

The pupils were then able to explore this using the iPads in augmented reality. Take a look at the pictures to see the results.
