Wow, what a busy week of exciting learning in Acorn Class this week! We started the week by recording our Nativity Singing. We can’t wait to watch the whole of Angel Express!
Here are some of our activities this week –
We watched a live lesson from Chester Zoo and learnt a lot about camouflage.
We scattered seeds – will they be eaten by the birds or will they grow?
With the help of one of Acorn Class, we learnt about St. Nicholas Day (December 6th.) Our class member very kindly handed out chocolates to each child and they all said ‘Danke’.
We posted our letters to Father Christmas!
We created our calendar gifts for our families. We linked this activity to our Maths work this week which was all about time.
We eagerly awaited Christmas dinner and it was was delicious!
Reindeer run for St. John’s Hospice was really fun…and tiring! Some children even managed to run over 1 mile!
Lots more exciting activities await us next week!
