Beech Class were very surprised to receive a letter when they came back into school on Wednesday. It said DO NOT OPEN UNTIL FRIDAY so we were very excited to wait and see who it was from. Today, we opened the letter and found out it was from Paddington …
The letter was a special type of letter called a postcard. In his postcard, he had set us a special job to write to his Aunt Lucy in Peru and tell her all about what he had been up to in London.
We decided to write our letters as if we were Paddington. We thought about all the things Paddington could have done in London and shared our ideas as a class. We thought he could have gone to the zoo, some shops, the London Eye, Big Ben and to see the Queen. We then wrote back to Aunt Lucy with our updates …
Mrs Quinn was so impressed with the amazing work we did all by ourselves!! Great work everyone!
